Contessa 32 Sailboat Sloop – Used Boats and Parts For Sale

The Contessa 32 is a 9.75 meter heavily built fiberglass mono hull sailboat. The boat was designed in Great Britain in 1970 by David Sadler.  The boat comes standard rigged as a masthead sloop, with a fin keel and a skeg-mounted rudder. The Contessa 32 is classified as a cruiser-racer. It is designed to be seaworthy enough for offshore voyages and perform well in offshore racing. The Contessa 32 is known for her ability to endure harsh weather and rough seas. It was a Contessa 32 that was the only yacht in the small boat class to finish the 1979 Fastnet race, in which 15 lives were lost.
